About this Artwork
Have you ever had an image stuck in your head for ages - and just wished you could paint it, draw it, or (in my case) photograph it? The Tree of Life is one of those visions for me. I was just starting to create work with dancers for my "Bodies of Light" series, and kept returning to this vision of bodies forming a tree. I had only created one previous set for this series, so the inspiration was fresh and flowing. I moved to Mexico City in the spring of 2018 and was immediately connected with dancers from the National Ballet and a few local contemporary groups. A friend showed me sand dunes a few hours drive away in Veracruz and I knew the moment had arrived to create this iconic photograph in my mind.
We drove in a large van with 15 dancers and stayed the weekend along the coast, scouting and creating the visual you see today.
I hope that when you view this image you remember that you are your own source. You are the oasis you need to get through the desert storm. When life throws challenges at you, remember to lean on the people you love. That's what humanity is all about - lifting up and supporting each other to build a brighter day.

Presented on acid-free, archival cotton Photo Rag Giclée paper with a chalky smooth finish, from Hahnemühle the world’s oldest mill who have been producing fine art papers for more than 500 years. Guaranteed archival life of 100+ years.
The frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. They are equipped with edge-ground float glass, an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel. The windows are made from glass. The rear panels are equipped with hangers in portrait and landscape format. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer.

Orders are dispatched within 3-5 days working days. Thereafter, they should arrive within 1 to 4 days to the UK/Europe, in 2 to 5 days to North America and 5 to 7 days for Australia/New Zealand. Other destinations may vary - please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Our printing company is 100% carbon neutral and all our packaging is environment friendly. Everything is either recyclable or biodegradable and that includes the stickers, tape, compostable bubble wrap as well as the frame edge protectors used.
Your artwork will be sustainably packaged and well protected, but on the rare occasion there are issues, we will make it right. More information here.

Large prints come as limited editions with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Once the edition is sold out, this artwork will never be available for sale again.
